Area Profile


Verbier lies high in a sunny, well sheltered position in the heart of Switzerland's southern-most Alps. There are some amazing views from the highest slopes and its panoramic setting is breathtaking.

The ski area is vast, high and varied with over 400kms of runs and a glacier at 3330m, providing even the most proficient skier with a seemingly unlimited number of challenges. Verbier boasts some lovely nursery slopes for beginners just above the village centre with tree lined runs down to La Tzoumaz. The resort attracts a large number of families and is World famous for its apr├Ęs ski. Verbier is trendy, cosmopolitan and always lively.
The bright lights of Verbier have attracted people from far and wide for decades, and its magnetic attraction for holiday makers seeking world class skiing and a buzzing nightlife is equally renowned. The village is made up of attractive chalet style buildings, and sits in a giant south-facing sunny bowl with breathtaking views both down and across the valley from virtually every property in the resort.
