Area Profile

Savognin

Savognin is a small attractive resort set on a high valley and has an excellent snow record. It has a large ski area. The wide open pistes are wonderful for skiers especially if you like carving. The combination of mountain peaks, pristine side valleys and snow covered pine trees make this area a romantic paradise.

Savognin is best known for its excellent ski schools. You will soon make progress and the kids will be hooked on skiing forever. The La Nars practice slope now has a 170 metre long undercover conveyer belt and kids can learn various skiing techniques on the Rotondo Carousel. Intermediates can take the red runs from the Piz Martegnas for a challenge and soak up the scenery as you glide downhill.

The village is a great choice for families and there is a good variety of restaurants serving Swiss specialities.
