Kandersteg is a pretty village surrounded by wonderful mountain scenery. It has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is an unspoilt village with picture postcard chalets offering a traditional all-round winter holiday.
The skiing is ideal for complete beginners or for those wanting skiing at a gentle pace. The cross country trails are superb.
Après-ski in Kandersteg is quite informal, with a good choice of restaurants, cafés & bars.
