Engelberg
Engelberg is one of Switzerland’s best kept secrets. It is best suited to intermediate skiers, the best run being the Laub, which drops 1000m.
Engelberg is a large and friendly traditional village. The
world’s first revolving cable car here provides a unique way to view the terrain as you travel to the guaranteed snow on the glacier 2kms above the village. There is plenty of skiing for all levels on the uncrowded slopes and the area offers superb off-piste skiing.
There are some excellent bars, some with live music, along with many mountain restaurants.
