Area Profile

Crans-Montana

At Crans-Montana you can ski at altitudes ranging from 1500 right up to the glacier at 3000m. The ski area includes 28 ski lifts including the new "Nationale Express" chairlift.

The area extends over 140km of marked pistes, a third of which can be covered with artificial snow if required, so a great ski season is guaranteed in this region which is among the sunniest in Valais.

The pistes can be enjoyed by everyone. Beginners are introduced to the joys of skiing on the nursery slopes or on the golf course, which is transformed into a snow-covered playground during winter. Adventure seekers will have a great time in the snowpark. Cross-country skiers can enjoy 35km of prepared
pistes, ranging from the plateau at 1500 metres, up to the glacier itself.

Crans-Montana has over 90 restaurants and numerous accomodation options.
