Anzere
Anzere lies at 1500 metres and the fantastic skiing area rises to over 2400 metres. It is a modern holiday resort on a southern slope located 15 km north of Sion.
The people of Anzere are exceptionally friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed, both on and off the piste. Anzere is an excellent choice for families. It has good English speaking ski schools.
Anzere has 40km of runs that are served by 11 lifts. The majority of the runs are perfect for intermediates, while there are 3km of easy runs for beginners. Terrain for experts is also limited.
Other available winter sports are an ice rink, ski-bob, and curling. Anzere has a wide range of shops, restaurants and an excellent nightlife scene.
