Although more famous for its beach holidays, Spain is actually the 2nd most mountainous country in Europe behind Switzerland and as well as great Skiing, offers a wide range of winter sports. The major and most popular resorts are those found in the Pyrenees but they can be found as far south as the Sierra Nevada which has arguably the best snow.
