Area Profile
Glenshee was the host to the 2001 Scottish Snowboarding Championships; and has also been the grounds of which two British Champions had trained and learnt the basics.
The resort offers more marked piste km's then any other resort in Britain. Glenshee is close by to Braemar,
a lively village where the annual 'Gathering' is held.
This resort is fantastic for snowboarders, whether
beginning the sport, or a true enthusiast looking for
a great challenge, the on-hill terrain is definitely
a great place to board, with it's natural quarter pipes
and longest run of 2.0km's and a vertical drop of 457m
it is a definite must go for any snowboarding fan.
With just over a quarter of the runs being based on
beginners it is also a great place for a family holiday.
