The Remarkables
A 45 minute drive from Queenstown, the Remarkables Alpine Park provides a true alpine environment.
There’s 220 skiable hectares accessed by quad chairs within three wide open bowls.
From the first timer through to those who like to be challenged by narrow chutes, rock drops and off-piste powder, The Remarkables is all about families, fun, freestyle and the love of the big mountain environment.
For backcountry lovers there is the 1.5km Homeward Bound. It is considered the best in-bounds backcountry run. For the not so serious, slide down groomed tracks on specifically designed inner-tubes in The Ozone Tubing Park. This is a must for pure fun seekers!
There’s an awardwinning ski and snowboard school, retail shop, cafe and equipment hire, and tunes in the parks add to the relaxed atmosphere!
