Area Profile

Mt. Olympus

Mount Olympus is only 1.5 hours from Christchurch. It is Club run in the Cragieburn range. It is set in a wide south facing basin offering a variety of runs on uncrowded slopes. The southerly aspect means that Olympus tens to trap more light powder than other nearby fields. Mt Olympus has 60 skiable hectares with much varied terrain offering challenges for skiers of all abilities.

Mt Olympus is a unique alpine experience. New Zealand's unrivaled skiing and boarding, irrepressible club spirit and spectacular New Zealand scenery make Olympus an unforgetable adventure.

There is a Lodge located up on the ski area - It is Bunkroom style and cooking and eating is done on a communal living basis.
