Area Profile
Moonlight Basin is a large ski resort where skiers have 1,900 acres and also access to ski across to Big Sky Resort which has a combined area of 5,512 acres, making this the largest interconnected skiing area in America.
The season runs between late November and early April and has an annual snow fall of 400 inches. Skiers of all abilities will enjoy the slopes at this location as it caters for everyone, with 76 trails to choose from, there are more challenging runs for experts with more chutes and open bowls.
With an elevation of 11,150feet and boasts a vertical drop of 4,150 feet, skiers will be taken around the mountain by 7 lifts.
Child care is also available at the resort and instruction can be given to adults and children.
