Resort Overview


Area Profile

Val d'Isere is certainly one of the most famous resorts in the world. There are a total of 90 lifts which open up what would seem like endless terrain and includes the Olympic and annual world cup downhills. The resort has also hosted the Alpine Ski World Championships and is the only resort in history to have hosted all three events.

In the area there are 38 hotels and more then 27,000 slopeside beds available. The night life is also one to be proud of, there are two night clubs and a few bars. 30km away from the resort is the nearest town, Bourg St Maurice.

The resort is also snowboard friendly and has a snow park, a double bowl, a boarder cross, two quarter pipes and  a half pipe. There are also snowboard lessons available.
