Area Profile

Tignes is one of the highest resorts in Europe at 3456 metres high. There is 61 hectares of skiable terrain and has an average of 1148 cm of snowfall.

The area consists of over 80 restaurants and 130 shops. There is also 4 banks, 4 post offices and a car rental. The nearest town, Bourg St Maurice is located 30km away. The downside to this resort is there is no child care available and the ski school is for ages 4 up.

There is also a snow park, quarter pipes, 2 half pipes and a boarder cross for snowboarders! As for the nightlife, there are 2 holiday clubs available as well.
