Area Profile

La Rosiere is a purpose-built resort, although has had all of its development using traditional materials and methods, making the resort itself more attractive and certainly gives it a warm welcoming feeling.

Nearby to La Rosiere is the Vanoise National Park, which is definitely a must see for any wild life and nature fan!  The park is home to some of the rarest species which are on the verge of extinction.

As for the skiing itself, the resort boasts an 11km run and many beginner and intermediate runs. There are 6 high speed quads and two new six seater chairlifts which were recently added to enhance the link which now extends too over 150kms of piste.
