Area Profile

The old spa town of Brides-les-Bains was 'the Olympic Village' and was home to the athletes who participated in the 1992 Savoie Winter Olympics. The resort's status as a spa town goes back to the last century and continues to be a great help towards the number of tourists that visit the resort yearly.

The resort has many, many activities for the whole family to participate in, on and off the slopes! It is well recommended to plan and research fully in to your holiday here before hand, as the resort benefits of having almost every winter sport imaginable! Not forgetting it's extensive spas and fitness programs!

This resort also has the world's biggest lift pass and the world's biggest lift linked ski area! There is more than 600km of trails for all ability levels. The longest run is 8km and there is also a 1950 metre vertical.
