Area Profile

Ylläs

Ylläs is the largest downhill and cross-country ski centre in Finland that has the greatest uplift per hour. The resort also boasts the country's greatest vertical, most runs and longest run (3km).

Ylläs has a number of wide, family runs with lots of space to practice along with excellent English speaking ski schools.
Intermediates can learn to carve some tracks thanks to the illuminated pistes which stay open in to the evening.

The advanced skier has some challenging steep pistes with some excellent off piste opportunities and the Super G slope.
