Tahko

Tahko is one of the best known resorts in Finland. It is located right in the heart of Finland, 435km from the capital, Helsinki. Tahko is located far enough south so that the weather does not get too cold but far enough north to ensure a long winter with plenty of snow!

The ski season here runs from November to May. They have 23 slopes, 8 of them which are illuminated. For cross country skiers there is a network of tracks totalling sone 70kms. The resort would mainly suit intermediate skiers.
