the skiing
The vertical drop here provides some extreme skiing and the off-piste area ensures fantastic snow conditions throughout the whole season. The challenges of the runs on the western side of the mountain are particularly enjoyable.
The après ski in pyha is a lively affair, with plenty of music. Try Ski Bistro, the Hotel Pyhä's après ski bar which often has live music. A must is to visit the unusual snow-clad 'Ice Bar'.
