Luosto
Luousto is one of Finland's best winter sports centres. Due to its location above the Arctic Circle it almost guarantees p1erfect snow conditions from November to May.
First time skiers will be spoilt in Luosto, Finland. There are deep soft snow, gentle runs, and the friendly instructors speak excellent English.
They have a rather demanding black run to warm up the advanced skier, however after a few days you may find that you would enjoy the more challenging runs found in Pyhä, reached easily in 20 minutes by ski bus.
Luosto offers luxurious on-site accommodation in log-wood cabins, along with snowmobile safaris, husky sled safaris and reindeer tours. The Scandic Hotel Luosto claims to be the biggest logwood restaurant in the world capable of seating up to 340 people.
