Area Profile

Winter Park is a large resort in Colorado and great for skiers of all abilities to enjoy the slopes. Set over 2,886 acres, Winter Park has an elevation of 12,060ft and boasts 134 ski trails.

The ski season at Winter Park runs from early November through to mid April and has an annual snow fall of 370 inches.

The terrain park at this resort has plenty of jumps and rails for skiers to try, and has the classic "mary Jane" run has been open for about 30 years and is very popular with skiers, also boasts a new "six pack high speed" lift taking skiers around the mountain.

There is plenty of accomodation at Winter Park and many bars and resturants with lively nightlife, with a free shuttle from the town to the ski resort.
