Area Profile

Steamboat resort is known world wide for being the town that has produced the most winter olympians then anywhere else. A very large resort that is perfect for skiers of all abilities to enjoy the slopes during the ski season which runs from late November to early April.

There is a seperate part of the mountain for beginners to learn away from the intermediate and advanced skiers, instruction is also available for beginners to learn skills before trying the slopes.

Steamboat has 142 trails that are operated by 5 lifts taking skiers to 10,568ft with the longest run being 1.5 miles and boasting a vertical drop of 3,668ft.
