Area Profile

Silverton Mountain is a large resort set over 1655 acres and boasts an annual snow fall of 400 inches.

The resort is popular for powder filled mountains and is open from end of November to mid April. It is not as popular as other ski resorts in Colorado meaning skiers can make the most of the slopes.

With an elevation of 13,487 feet and a vertical drop of 1900 feet, skiers will enjoy the trails no matter what their ability. Instruction is available locally and ski equipment is also available for rent.
