Area Profile

Howelsen Hill is located in the steamboat springs, Colorado, a very small location with only 30 acres of skiing area, but still very popular.

Olympic skiers, past and present, train at this resort each day. With an elevation of 7,136ft, skiers will be able to enjoy their time at this resort with a vertical drop of 440ft. The ski season at Howelsen Hill is open from early December through to the end of March, making this a great location for families looking to get away for a winter vacation.

It is one of the longest running resorts, opening in 1915, and has the largest copmplete natural ski jumping complex in North America.
