Area Profile

Few ski resorts match Heavenly's scenic beauty and expansive network of lifts, terrain, trails, and snowmaking. Sitting just on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is the region's largest mountain resort, featuring the highest elevation and longest vertical drop. The resort spans two states and the skiing is suitable for all abilities and you can choose to ski in Nevada, with stunning views of the arid vastness of the Nevada Desert, or to head for the Californian side overlooking the calm beauty of Lake Tahoe. The stateline area in the centre holds a handful of casinos sat just inches on the Nevada who also offer some big name entertainers from music and comedy.
