Area Profile
Dodge Ridge has been a family favorite (family-owned, too) for Bay Area and Central Valley residents since it opened in 1951.
There's good skiing and riding for all ability levels, with 20 percent beginner terrain, and 40 percent each for intermediates and advanced. The long Stagecoach run (two miles) is a signature. the resort also has
a specialised boarding park for snowboarders.
In keeping with it family-friendly reputation the apres-ski scene is laid back consisting mainly of a couple of hotels and a few restaurants. Snowfall is reliable as the resort's trails average between 300-500 inches of snow each year. The base area features a 16,000-square foot family lodge.
