Pamporovo
Pamporovo is a modern resort located in the heart of the Rhodopi mountain. It has wonderful snow throughout the whole season usually from mid December to mid April. Pamporovo is situated 1650m above the sea level at the foot of peak Snejanka (1926m). It is 240km from Sofia and 85km from Plovdiv.
The gentle profile of the mountain with its rounded slopes and summits make Pamporovo particularly suitable for beginners. However there are also difficult runs like the Giant Slalom which is excellent exercise for every skiing expert. The most difficult ski piste is named "The Wall". Great off-piste skiing and snowboarding is available in this resort, however we recommend using a local guide when going off-piste.
Different types of restaurants and places to eat are available in the resort and near the ski pistes, along with a great choice of accomodation.
