Sun Peaks is the second largest resort in British Columbia, made up of 3 mountains in the village. The village is 1,198m and is operated by 11 lifts taking skiers up to 2,080m. At the base of the mountain there is a seperate section for beginners and this resort also has a childrens terrain park with friendly instruction. Sun Peaks receives over 5m of snow fall each year and annually has round 2000 hours of sunshine, the slopes remain uncrowded making this a great factor for beginners.
In the evening visitors can enjoy themed nights out, heated swimming pools and also kids snowmobiling tours. There is also a cinema and a sports centre in the village making this an ideal locaation for all the family.
