Resort Overview


Area Profile

Kicking Horse is a resort situated in Golden Valley region on the Rockies, this is an ideal location for the advanced skiers with 60% of 100 runs that are allocated to them, With steep terrains and a danger of avalanches.

For beginners there is an area at the top of Catamount chair which has more gentle runs and for intermediates they can try the longest run in Kicking Horse which is 10km.

The Highest peak of kicking Horse is 2,450m and boasts the second highest vertical drop in Canada which is 1,260m.

Away from the slopes, there is a shuttle bus that takes you in to Golden where you will find shops, bars and resturants. The mountain is home to Canadas highest dining experience at a height of 2,300m.
