Galtur is the highest ski village in the Silvetta Region and famous for its traditional Tyrolean style village and historic visitor, Ernest Hemingway. The resort is a peaceful one with all the usual facilities. Skiing can be found to suit all abilities, however, there is a short bus ride to reach the lifts. As well as the many ski schools, visitors can also enjoy non skiing events such as curling, ice skating and sleigh rides.
