Resort Overview

Area Profile

Alpach is an award winning resort and renowned as one of the best in Europe. The resort village area is reasonably small (2,500 beds) but teeming with character and tradition, and although somewhat restrained, the apres-ski is lively enough to keep the party-goers happy.

As for terrain, the gentler slopes are great for beginners and families but the majority of the slopes are suited to an intermediate skier. Advanced skiers staying in this area usually head for the neighbouring Kitbuheler region when they want more of a challenge.

Alpbach makes a great base to explore the region with good ski lift connections and 45km of its own groomed piste.
