Mt. Buller
Mt Buller is an easy 3 hour drive from Melbourne. It is both close enough for a day’s escape and far enough away for a holiday.
During winter, the extensive lift system gives you access to over 300 ha of terrain with something to appeal to all levels of ability. The village is situated in the picturesque heart of the mountain, close to all amenities and trails. With a wide range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets, there is something to cater for all needs. A number of bars and restaurants provide a range of choices, from quick snacks to fine dining.
Mt Buller has a superb variety of terrain from cruisy greens to double black chutes.
The South Side of the mountain is a series of bowls, which comprise some of the most challenging black mogul skiing in Australia, while the ridges between these bowls feature great blue cruising runs. The North Side of the mountain features a number of long cruisers,challenging areas, and the unique experience of skiing amongst the tall Woolybutt eucalypts.
Snow season is typically June until the end of September.
