Falls Creek
Victoria’s largest alpine resort is Falls Creek. It is one of the most popular winter playgrounds in Australia and offers a superb range of activities, attractions and events. It is situated 356kms (about 4.5 hours) from Melbourne and approximately eight hours drive from Sydney.
Snow season for begins in June running until the first weekend of October.
Having more than 60km of cross country trails there’s a lot to see across the picturesque Bogong High Plains. If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the Australian National Cross Country Team who call Falls Creek home every winter.
