Area Profile

Located only 19 kilometres from San Carlos de Bariloche, Catedral is one of the larger restors of Argentina. Offering a variation of slopes with a total of 53. An ideal location for all abilities including those that like to snowboard and freestyle. Catedral has a specially designed slope with rails and bumps for the freestyle and snowboarders, there is also the option for off-piste skiing. The 53 slopes offer a full range of difficulties and some slopes that reach up to 2000 metres above sea level. The venue is very up to date and very well kept, enough so that there are many important international competitions held at Catedral.

Among the slopes are 39 lifts in which have been programmed with a new system allowing you not to have to show a pass, automatic detectors will be given in which transmit through radio frequency even if in your pocket.

The resort being set among 600 hectares of pure snow have a great deal of amenities including, hotels, restaurants, clubs, bars and shops. Internet access is also available at the 1600 metre and base stations. For parents wanting some time to themselves you will also find a nursery within the resort. Equipment and Ski schools are also available.
