Area Profile

Marmot Basin is located in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada, the biggest Rocky Mountain park. With 1,6675 acres of skiing area and 84 trails this a very large, uncrowded resort for skiers of all abilities to head to the slopes.

Marmot Basin has an average of 170inches of snow fall every year and a very long run which is 18,480ft. 9 lifts operate taking around 11,900 skiers to the trails every single hour, boasting a vertical drop of 3,000ft. Activites away form the slopes include ice fishing, ice climbing and horsedrawn sleigh rides taking in the views of the waterfalls.
